In Local High School Volleyball Action from Monday, the Fairfield Lady Mules started their season 1-0 with a 25-18, 25-22 win over visiting Richland County at the Mule Barn. Richland County provided some challenges at times in the match, but big rallies in sets for the Lady Mules helped them pull away. Freshman and JV squads for Fairfield were also victorious.
Wayne City Volleyball starts their season. 0-1 after falling to DuQuoin on the road with set scores of 25-20, 25-14.
