Wabash Area Development, Inc. has announced that Samantha Locey has been awarded awarded a Community Services Block Grant Scholarship for the 2023-24 school year. Samantha will be attending Frontier Community College to become a Certified Medical Assistant. Samantha says she chose the Certified Medical Assistant Program because there are numerous career opportunities and options available for career advancement in the medical field.
Samantha has been recognized as Frontier Community College’s Student of the Year for her hard work and dedication, and currently has a 4.0 GPA.
WADI awards seven CSBG Scholarships each year to students in Edwards, Gallatin, Hamilton, Saline, Wabash, Wayne, and White Counties.
