A Grayville man will serve 4 years of time in the Illinois Department of Corrections for driving on a revoked license.
On August 29th, Edwards County Judge Michael Valentine sentenced 39-year-old Matthew D. Swift to 4 Years in the IDOC as well as a year of supervised released. The case dates back to March of this year.
Swift was credited with 22 days of time served. The sentence, according to court documents states that it is to be served concurrently with a sentence out of Wabash County. In that case, he is serving a 7-year sentence for possession of meth as part of a plea deal. That sentence was handed down on August 21st.
