Fairfield Mayor Gary Moore is attempting to address an issue involving illegal dumping involving a city disposal site. According to the City’s Facebook Page, Mayor Moore during the August 22nd City Council Meeting spoke about the missue of the city lot used for the drop off of grass clippings, leaves, and tree limbs. Mayor Moore stated in the meeting that if the dumping of prohibited items continues at the city site, he will have no choice but to shut it down. Mayor Moore is asking residents to follow the rules so the community can continue to use the site.
