The Edwards County FFA has announced their student of the month for September. The student is Drew Wolfe. He was nominated because he is always a helpful student. For his reward for being student of the month, Drew has received several items from the student of the month program sponsors.
Meanwhile, the Edwards County Forestry CDE team placed third on Monday at Sam Dale Lake at a recent event. Trenton Jefferson was in 3rd place, Jaden Schwarzlose was in 12th, and Jake Wiseman was 13th.
Finally, the Edwardsport County Horse CDE team competed on Monday at the White Squirrel Saddle Club. They came away in 12th place. The team is made up of: Sofia Pogue, Easton Keener, Gabe Wyatt, Shiloh Beadles, Owen Lynch, Grace Glover, and Bri Swartzbaugh.
