Three Students at Wayne City High School Earn Acedemic Honors from the College Board

Three seniors at Wayne City High School earned academic honors from the College Board. All three have been named National Rural and Small Town Award (NRSTA) recipients based on their outstanding PSAT scores and GPA.

Andre’ Maguet, Wayne City – Son of Lezlee Barnard and Marc-Michel Mageut

A.J. Moore, Wayne City – Son of James and Jennifer Moore

Liam Smith, Orchardville – Son of John Smith and Tracy Smith

Andre is active in scholar bowl, Beta Club Honor Society, history Club, pep club, yearbook staff, and the Red Ribbon Team.  Andre will major in mechanical engineering.

A.J.’s school activities include scholar bowl, Beta Club Honor Society, and history club.  He is a Boy Scouts of America Life Scout and has earned the Order of the Arrow recognition He placed third in ACES competition at Rend Lake College.  AJ will major in engineering or computer science.

Liam participates in scholar bowl, Beta Club Honor Society, basketball, and history club. LIam will major in mechanical engineering.
