There are several festivals going on this weekend in Southeastern Illinois. One of those festivals is Ryan Fest in Mount Vernon. The festival takes place beginning at 2 PM Saturday at the Mount Vernon Airport.
At the festival, there will be several events going on. There will be a juggler performing, music from the Christian music duo, Renee, Ethan Payne, the Orchardville Church Praise Team, and Stand Up Comedian, David Graham. There will be food and other vendors and a cornhole tournament. The entry to the cornhole tournament is $15 per person. There will also be a car show with entry by donation.
The festival is in memory of Ryan Brawley who passed away 6 years ago of Cystic Fibrosis. All of the money raised will go towards the Family Life Shelter, a homeless shelter in the Mount Vernon Area.
