An Allendale, South Carolina man wanted for murder in South Carolina has been apprehended in Evansville, Indiana. 34-year-old Jonathan Torell Kelly had been the subject of a manhunt in Lawrence County, Illinois last week.
Kelly was arrested Friday night by the U.S. Marshall Regional Task Force at a residence in the 25oo block of Pollack Avenue in Evansville. Kelly had an active felony warrant from South Carolina for Murder, Kidnapping, Possession of a Weapon during a violent crime and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Kelly is being held in the Vanderburgh County, Indiana jail awaiting extraditiion back to South Carolina.
