Governor Pritzker is pledging Illinois’ support for Israel following the Hamas attack. During a gathering yesterday in the Chicago area, the governor said we must honor the many peace-loving Palestinians, but proclaimed that Hamas is a terrorist organization backed by Iran. Pritzker, who is Jewish, said he put State Police and law enforcement across the state on alert at synagogues and other gathering places for Jews. He added that there is no immediate threat.
