Clay County Hospital has announced they they will be hosting their first ever Speech/Language Screening Clinic. Hospital officials say the clinic is free.
Hospital officials feel this is a great opportunity to begin early detection and correction for speech issues ranging from mild to severe cases! Historically, school aged children are not pre-screened until around 1st grade. Screening is available for ages 0-7 years of age and only requires a quick phone call to reserve your time spot!
The screenings will be offered by appointment only by calling 618-662-8060 to set up a time for your child’s 10 minute screening on either Tuesday, November 7th or Thursday, November 9th!
