Recently, members of the Edwards County and Cisne FFA Chapters competed in the Job Interview Leadership Development Event held October 18th at Wabash Valley College.
Edwards County’s Gabe Wyatt and Chase Shelton, participated in the event as well as Cisne’s Chloe Owens and Claire Cannon.
Edwards County’s Gabe Wyatt competed in Varsity while Chase Shelton competed in Junior Varsity. Wyatt placed 7th and Shelton placed 4th. Good job to both of these members!
Cisne’s Owens finished 3rd overall in the Varsity Division, and Cannon won the Junior Varsity
In the event, members had to prepare a resume and cover letter, fill out a job application, complete the interview itself, and write a follow-up letter.
Ten area schools participated in the event at Wabash Valley College. Cannon for her efforts advanced to the district competition next week at SIU Carbondale.
