Event officials are preparing for the annual Veterans Parade in Fairfield. The parade will step off this Saturday at 2 PM. The lineup will begin on North 1st Street beginning at 1 PM with the National Anthem at 1:15. Roasted Chestnuts will also be available at 1:15 at Freedom Park. There will be a veterans breakfast at 6 AM Saturday Morning that will be held at the St. Edwards Catholic Church. To reserve a spot for breakfast, contact Dennis Zurliene to reserve a spot at 618-599-8168.
