Here’s the latest on area river stages as of this morning:  the Little Wabash River east of Fairfield and at Clay City both have a reading of 4.33 feet.  Flood stage east of Fairfield is 17 feet and 18 feet at Clay City.  At Carmi the stage is 3.04 feet.  Flood stage is 27 feet.  The Skillet Fork at Wayne City is at 4.91 feet.  Flood stage is 15 feet, and the Wabash River at Mt. Carmel is at 3.28 feet.  Flood stage is 19 feet.  Bonpas Creek at Browns reads 1.39 feet.

Warmer weather is expected through midweek before a cool down by next weekend, along with a chance of showers Thursday and Thursday night.
