Fairfield Community High School will be holding a veterans day service tomorrow morning at 10 AM in the east gym at FCHS. Representitives from the local VFW will be on hand to present the flag followed the pledge of allegiance. The FCHS Show Choir will sing the national anthem and the FCHS Band wlll perform a patriotic song. There will be a recognition of students who have enlisted with various branches of service or will be going into the military after high school, introduced by FCHS Superintendent Diane Zurliene. The guest speaker at this year’s veteran’s day program is Ryan Burkett. Burkett is a former student and graduate of FCHS. Taps will be performed at the conclusion of the program. Members of the community are invited to attend and may enter at the east gym doors beginning at 9:30 AM. There is no cost to attend.
