The Illinois Student Assistance Commission has announced that Wayne City High School is the 2023 Recognition of Excellence from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission for excellence in supporting the Class of 2023 students through the financial aid process. WCHS counselor, Ruth Kissner, will receive an award banner to display, along with recognition for the class. The WCHS guidance department has received the Recognition of Excellence each year since the program started.
