Wayne County Sheriff’s Officials have made an arrest in the shooting that took place in Cisne earlier this month.
According to information from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, Sheriff’s Officials arrested Dennis Galbraith. Galbraith was located by Wayne County Authorities shortly after his release from an area hospital as he was being treated for a gunshot wound following a domestic violence situation. The domestic violence incident ended up causing a lock down earlier this month in the North Wayne Schools as a precaution of unknowns at the time.
Galbraith faces charges of aggravated domestic battery and violating an order of protection. He was also wanted on an outstanding Edwards County warrant for domestic battery.
Galbraith is being held at the Wayne County Jail, where he is being held with no pre-trial release. An initial hearing is set for December 19th in Wayne County Court.
