The City of Grayville will meet again Monday Evening at Grayville City Hall. One items that is on the agenda will be the new resident attraction program. Mayor Travis Thompson is looking at the idea of putting a program in place that would give a one-time grant to those who move to the area and stay for a minimum of 2-years. Thompson is basing the program off a program that is offered out of Dubois County, Indiana. At the last council meeting, Mayor Thompson encouraged city officials to look at other programs offered around the state and region. Thompson’s goal overall is to bring more residents to the border community and bring more industry and jobs to town.
