Today is the first day for those seeking election for public office in the 2024 election cycle to turn in petitions. For those running for office, petitions must be turned in by Monday, December 4th.
In Edwards County, petitions have been turned include Steve Smith for precinct committeeman in Albion 2, Amanda Willett for Circuit Clerk, Mark Curtis for Coroner, and Eric St. Ledger for States Attorney.
