Illinois is releasing preliminary totals for the first weekend of the Illinois firearm deer hunting season between November 17th and 19th. Hunters in Illinois harvested 53-thousand-348 deer. That is slightly less than the same period last year. Illinois’ seven-day firearm deer season will conclude Thursday through Sunday.
