Kathy Rae Braden, age 72 of McLeansboro, IL, passed away at 12:05 a.m., Wednesday November 29, 2023 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital, McLeansboro, IL.
Kathy was born November 13, 1951 in Fairfield, IL to Clifford Jackson and Opal (Hodges) Jackson. She married Curtiss Edward Braden on October 23, 1979 in Fairfield, IL.
She was employed many years as a Home Health Aide. One of her favorite past times was watching tv and movies, spending time outdoors and driving around with her husband Ed.
Kathy is survived by her husband Ed, son Kaleb Braden and companion Tonya Cross of Dahlgren, IL daughters Kelli Rexing and husband Charles of McLeansboro, IL; Opal Zuber, McLeansboro, IL; Leigh Spicer, McLeansboro, IL; Suzan Spicer, Sister, Valerie Gay McQueen.
Preceding Kathy in death were her parents, 1 Sister Kay Paul and Brother Billy Jo
Raine.
VISITATION ONLY IS BEING HELD 10:00 A.M. TO 12:00 NOON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2023 AT HARRE FUNERAL HOME, McLeansboro, which is in charge of arrangements.
A Private Burial of Ashes will be held at a later date.
