The Albion City Council will hold their December meeting this evening.
At the meeting, a member of the team at Kemper CPA Group will be presenting the yearly audit of last year’s accounts.
In old business, the council will look into putting up stops signs at the intersections of 6th and Elm as well as 7th and Elm. City leaders will get an update on the roof over the ambulance service side of city hall. The council will also look into yearly bonuses for city employees.
Under new business, the council will hold a truth in taxation hearing and then look to approve the tax levy for the upcoming year. Following that, council members will look into replacement of the animal control officer, establishing a city website, and observing Election Day and Juneteenth as holidays. The city will also look at purchasing equipment.
