The Fairfield City Council is set to meet Tuesday Evening at 6 PM at Fairfield City Hall. Prior to the meeting, officials will be holding a truth in taxation hearing at 5:50 PM. The city is looking at a tax levy increase of over 7 percent with the funding to go towards the city’s unfunded pension liability. During the meeting, the council will look to approve the tax levy, approve a revolving loan request with Tim’s Bargain Depot, and legislation involving the state’s paid leave for all act that takes place on January 1st.
