Village officials in Wayne City want to let the public know of a delay in trash pickup next week. Village officials say that Republic Services, the company the collects trash in Wayne City, will be running a day behind next week due to the upcoming Christmas Holiday. Since Republic Services is observing Friday as Christmas Eve, officials say the track pickup for next week will take place on Saturday instead of Friday. Officials say to have your trash ready for pickup next week in the early hours of Saturday Morning.
