Last night, Wayne County Emergency Management passed on information about an earthquake in the area. The quake happened at 10:10 PM. The epicenter was located around 4.1 miles Northwest of Waltonville or 12.3 Miles West Southwest of Mount Vernon. The quake measured 3.2 on the Richter Scale. Some residents in the area report feeling the quake, mainly in the western portion of Wayne County.
