State police are investigating an officer involved shooting in Fayette County. Authorities say officers received a call Saturday night about a burglary in progress with shots fired at a home in Brownstown. Tyler Roe fled the scene in a vehicle he stole from the victim’s home. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department chased the vehicle until it stopped in Saint Elmo. As officers approached the vehicle, a Farina police officer shot Roe, who was taken to an area hospital. He was later released and booked at the Fayette County Jail.
