Paul L. Frazier, 75, of Wayne City, died at 2:44pm on Monday, January 1, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family. He had worked in construction with the Union Local 1297.

Paul was born on January 6, 1948, in McLeansboro, IL, to Emery and May “Rosalie” (Scott) Frazier. On April 25, 1986, he married the love of his life, Tammy Kaye (Willett) Frazier. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam war. He was also a member of the Wayne City Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife Tammy Frazier and son Austin Frazier, both of Wayne City, and three sisters Mary (Joe) Pearson of McLeansboro, IL, Barbara (Perry) Odle of Mt. Vernon, IL, and Debbie (Les) Vaughan of Dahlgren, IL, along with several brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant brother Harold Gene Frazier.

Funeral services for Paul Frazier will be at 10am on Friday, January 5th, at the Wayne City Christian Church. Burial will follow in Baltimore Cemetery with full military rites provided by the Anthony Wayne Post #176 American Legion and the Wayne County Post #4535 VFW. Visitation will be from 5pm-7pm on Thursday, January 4th at the church. Memorial donations can be made to either the Dr. Scranton Memorial Cancer Fund or the Cancer Care Specialists of Illinois and will be accepted during the funeral services or at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
