The Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission and the University of Illinois are hosting Community Kick-Off meetings for the FEMA 5-County Hazard Mitigation Plan, which aims to identify potential enviromental hazards and create a community plan to address those hazards. These meetings are open to the public and
everyone is encouraged to attend. In the area of Wayne, Edwards, and Wabash Counties, the meeting will be held on January 23 from 9-10 in the morning at the Illinois Farm Bureau Office in Albion. For Lawrence and Crawford Counties, the meeting will be held from 1-2 PM at the Robinson Community Center. There will also be a virtual meeting option on January 25th from 5:30-6:30 PM on Zoom.
