City, County, State, and Federal offices are closed today for the Martin Luther King Holiday. US mail is not delivered and many banks are also closed.
Because of the cold temperatures, the Wayne County and Edwards County Senior Centers will be closed for in person services. Officials with the centers say that meals will still be delivered. The choice to close the centers today is so seniors do not get out and get stuck in the cold weather. Area WADI offices are also closed today due to the cold temps. Office staff will be working from home for WADI and will be reachable by calling your local WADI office.’Carnaby Square in Fairfield is also going to be closed today.
