The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce is accepting scholarship application from Wayne County students with a Chamber connection. The scholarship, valued at $500.00 will be awarded to one male and one female student meeting the following criteria:
1. Applicants must either work for a Chamber member or have an immediate family member who belongs to theWayne County Chamber of Commerce, individually or through corporate affiliation.
2. Applicant must attend a school in Wayne County.
3. Applicants must plan to attend a vocational/technical school or a two or four-year college/university.
4. Applicants must complete an essay describing why the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce is important to them and their community.
5. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from two individual adults that are not related to them.
6. The application packet must be fully and legibly completed.
Applications may be picked up at the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce office, Fairfield, Cisne and Wayne City High Schools and Frontier Community College.
Scholarship applications must be returned to the Wayne CountyChamber of Commerce office no later than 12:00 PM, Friday March 29, 2024.
