Cheri L (Griesemer) Taylor, 67, of Olney, IL. formerly of Mt. Erie, IL. passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Carle Richland Hospital in Olney, IL.
Cheri was born on January 23, 1957 in Lawrenceville, IL. to Omer and Gaye (Smith) Griesemer. She married Terry J. Taylor on July 22, 1989 in Mt. Erie, IL. and he survives.
Cheri was a Homemaker and had also been a CNA. Sheenjoyed making wedding cakes for family and friends. She loved being outside, all kinds of animals and especially taking care of the horses. She attended the NazareneChurch in Mt. Erie and was active in 4-H for several years.She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Cheri is survived by her husband Terry J. Taylor, daughterMandi Pokojski, son Dustin Earnst; grandchildren Alec Pokojski, Nathaniel Pokojski, Skyler Dailey, Alexis Crazier, Acianna Earnst, Levi Earnst, Alyssa Earnst, Raylan Earnst, Ace Wollard, Doc Hollywood Woolard, Kiana Woolard, Jasmine Woolard, and six great grandchildren; also surviving are two brothers Ken (Teria) Griesemer and Jonathan (Amanda) Griesemer.
Preceding her in death were her parents, son Jesse Earnst, a daughter Nikita Turner, one great granddaughter Secerity Wollard, and a brother Donnie Griesemer.
Visitation; Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 11:00 am-1:00pm at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home, Cisne IL.
Funeral: Saturday, February, 3, 2024 at 1:00pm at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home, Cisne, IL.
Burial: Will follow in Scott Cemetery near Mt. Erie.
