In order to meet the growing needs of our patients, Fairfield Memorial Hospital Horizon Healthcare has expanded its Behavioral Health Counseling Services with the addition of Lauren Griswold, MSW, LCSW, Behavioral Health Therapist, as the newest provider at Horizon Healthcare.
Lauren completed her Associate’s Degree from Frontier Community College in May of 2008. She then went on to complete her Bachelor’s of Social Work in 2010 and her Master’s of Social Work in 2011 from the University of Southern Indiana. Lauren achieved her Board Certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2014.
Lauren has worked at Fairfield Memorial Hospital the past 12 years in Senior Life Solutions. She has provided counseling to older adults dealing with depression, anxiety and other life challenges.
The FMH Horizon Healthcare Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapy Program provides counseling services to individuals, couples and families, including children, teens, and adults in both the Fairfield and Carmi Clinics. Those dealing with issues of anxiety, depression, family conflict, medical illness, and behavioral difficulties could benefit from the program, as well as those with a more severe mental health diagnosis. A variety of interventions and coping skills are offered based on individual treatment planning and agreed upon by the patient and the healthcare team.
