Early Voting Begins Today

Early voting in Ilinois begins today across the state. Different counties have different procedures on how the early voting will work.

In Wayne County, early voting will take place in the County Clerk’s Office on the 1st level of the courthouse between 8 AM and 4 PM.

County Clerk Liz Ann Woodrow says that voter registration can also take place in her office. She also says if you are registering to vote after February 21st, voting will be required to take place in her office.

The official Election Day in Illinois is set for Tuesday, March 19th.

For early voting in your local county for those not in Wayne County, it’s recommended you contact your local county clerk.
