Illinois Lawmakers Pushing For Child Tax Credit

Illinois lawmakers are pushing for a statewide child tax credit. A bill introduced yesterday would offer 300-dollars per child starting in 2025 for families who earn less than the median income. If approved, Illinois would become the 14th state to pass a statewide child tax credit.
