The annual Veterans Honor Flight is seeking assistance from local businesses. The flight takes place on May 7th and will allow local veterans to travel to Washington, DC to receive honors for their service. The group is looking for partners from the Southern Illinois region. Donations of small mementos that can be taken to DC are being accepted through April 23rd through Veterans-Honor-Flight-dot-org.
