The Fairfield Park District is now accepting applications for Lifeguards for the summer. Lifeguards must be 15 years of age by the date of certification classes in May. Certification or recertification classes will be provided by the Park District. Lifeguards’ job description includes Guarding the pool, teaching several weeks of public swim lessons, cleaning and maintaining pool area and bathhouses, and communicating with the public. Applications may be picked up at the Park Maintenance Building at 416 E. Johnson Street or at Fyie & Rice Law Office at 115 N.E. Third Street in Fairfield. The application deadline is April 10, 2024.
