Police in White County investigated a couple of incidents Friday. According to information from our sister information WRUL, 27 year old Matthew Webb-Cramer was cited for criminal trespass to real property at the Carmi Hucks, and was also jailed on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful use of property to violate the Meth Control Act after a call for service to Huck’s for a trespassing complaint was made.
Also in White County, Carmi police responded to a report of a stolen orange and silver 2024 Polaris vehicle from the Car Corral from their lot. After an investigation lasting several days, police received information to obtain a search warrant for the property and residence of Robert McGehee in Enfield. With help from Norris City police and the White County Sheriff’s Department, the stolen Polaris was found, along with illegal drug items. McGehee faces several drug charges, as well as possession of a stolen vehicle. The investigation is continuing.
