Burglary Arrest Made in Fairfield This Morning

Just before 4 this morning, Wayne County Sheriff’s Officials received a call about a burglary in progress at New World Chinese Restaurant in Fairfield. Upon arrival Wayne County Deputies observed the outer main door had been forced open. Deputies entered the building and began clearing it for suspects. During the search they observed a male attempting to flee out of the rear door of the restaurant. Deputies took the subject John E. Luther 51 of Fairfield into custody.

The following Items were located on John’s person and/or at the scene according to sheriff’s officials:
One Coast G20 Flashlight (In John’s hand)
One Flathead Screwdriver (In John’s coat pocket)
One Hyper Tough Pry Bar (laying on the floor in front of the open cash register) One Clown Mask (laying near the rear exit)
One Backpack containing One Hammer (along the North side of the restaurant) One Bicycle (along the North side of the restaurant) 1 .
One Fortune Cookie (in John’s coat Pocket)
