The IECC Board of Trustees during their February session approved work on the synchronous lecture halls at the IECC campus locations. A total of 4 classrooms at an overall cost of $866,344.22. The IECC recently received grants to help cover nearly $740,000 of the cost of the technology from the USDA. The technology will be used to allow professors to communicate with students on any campus that the IECC has. The IECC operates Frontier Community College in Fairfield, Olney Central College in Olney, Wabash Valley College in Mount Carmel, and Lincoln Trail College in Robinson.
