The Edwards County 4-H Program recently received an Illinois 4-H Food Advocacy Grant. Hayley Perry, Unit 25 2023-2024 4-H Ambassador for Edwards County, applied for the grant on behalf of the program.
The grant allowed the program to purchase food to supplement the Edwards County Backpack Program. Food purchased included applesauce, pudding, fruit cups, and mini ravioli.
Members of the Edwards County 4-H delivered the items to program officials.
