With the primary Election Day 19 days away, those who have turned in their ballots already may have cast a ballot that essentially tossed away a vote.
On Wednesday, a judge on appeal removed Donald Trump from the ballot in the state of Illinois. The reason for the challenge to his ability to run was based on the 14th Amendment’s insurrectionist ban. A stay has been given on the current ruling as the Trump team has until tomorrow to file an appeal.

Edwards County Election Officials are stating as well that Donald Trump is remaining on their ballot until otherwise given a directive from the state. The case will be heard by the US Supreme Court in the near future.
