Judge Valentine in Wayne County Court handed down a pair of sentences on Thursday.
37-year-old Amanda M. Scott of Fairfield pled guilty on a charge of unlawful possession of meth. As a part of the plea, 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance, 2 counts of possession of meth, a count of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a cancelled, revoked, or suspended registration were dropped. Scott will serve 2 years of probation and pay court costs of $5259.
30-year-old Lacey R. Thomason of Fairfield pled guilty to a count of possession of meth. As a part of the agreement, Thomason will be under court supervision for 24 months and pay court costs $4525. A count of meth delivery was dismissed.
