Cisne FFA members Joshua Biggs, Kadence Hyder, Allie Brach, Ella Krupp, Macy
Tannahill, and Alex Paul finished as the 2nd place varsity team at the Section 23 Parliamentary
Procedure Leadership Development Event held February 29, 2024, at Richland County High
School. Individual honors included: 1st place Chairperson-Joshua Biggs; Overall Floor
Member Awards: 3rd place – Alex Paul, 4th place- Ella Krupp, 7th place -Macy Tannahill, and
9th Overall Floor Member -Kadence Hyder.
The Conduct of Chapter Meetings team of Ava Lewis, Claire Matthews, Aidyn Dickey, Mikkie
Hearle, Makayla Morse, Allison Shannon, and Kenzie Alvis was named 2nd place team in the
Section 23 competition also held February 29th at Olney. Individual Honors included: 2nd
place President – Kenzie Alvis, Overall Individual Floor Members: 4th – Allison Shannon, 7th –
Mikkie Hearle, 9th – Aidyn Dickey, and 10th – Claire Matthews.
The varsity competition included a written test of parliamentary law, a 10-minute demonstration,
and impromptu questions. The Conduct of Chapter Meetings team also included the
demonstration of opening and closing FFA ceremonies. The teams now advance to the district level hosted by SIUC in March.
