A Bluford woman was arrested by Wayne County Authorities in Wayne City. On Saturday at 11:30pm, Wayne County Deputies on patrol in Wayne City observed subjects walking down the railroad tracks. The Deputy stopped the subjects for walking down the railroad tracks. During this encounter the Deputy observed one of the subjects to be Kaci D. Bruce 37 of Bluford, Il. The Deputy had prior knowledge Bruce had and active warrant for theft out of Wayne County. Bruce was taken into custody and a search incident to arrest found her to be in possession of methamphetamine. Bruce was transported to the Wayne County Jail and is being held pending a detainment hearing.
Bruce faces charges of possession of meth and was wanted on a warrant for theft out of Wayne County.
