Clay County Hospital has announced that Sarah Nash in Nutrition Services at the hospital has been named Employee of the Month for February. Nash was nominated by Kristen Rinehart, HR Partner.
I would like to nominate Sara Nash as employee of the month! During new hire week, I was taking the new hires through the cafeteria to show them how to go through the cafeteria line. I let the group know that coffee, tea, water was free etc. One of the new hires didn’t eat breakfast and reached for a food item. Upon getting to the register with the group, the new hire didn’t have her badge. She had left it in the MPR. Sara, Nutrition Services Aide, had already rang her up before the new hire realized her badge was not on her. Without skipping a beat, Sara swiped her own personal badge to pay for the new hire’s food item. The new hire was very grateful, and Sara seemed glad to do it!
Sara’s action was a perfect example of kindness! She didn’t even have to think about swiping her badge to help the new hire but just did it! CCH believes in treating others like you want to be treated and Sara stepped up to help a brand-new fellow employee out! This will be an action that the new hire will always remember! Sara is always kind, and we are lucky to have her as a CCH employee.
