K9 Tiko Called To A Pair of Traffic Stops Thursday

K9 Tiko was involved with a pair of arrests on Thursday.

At 11:08pm, Wayne County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in Fairfield. During the traffic stop the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office K9 Tiko was requested to the scene. After K9 Tiko alerted on the vehicle for the odor of illegal drugs a search was conducted. During he search Deputies located approximately 81 grams of methamphetamine and digital scales. The Driver Joshua A. Zoph (44) of Eldorado was taken into custody. Zoph is being held at he Wayne County Jail.

Preliminary Charge
-Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute

At 11:43pm, Wayne County Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Boyelston. During the traffic stop Wayne County Sheriff’s Office K9 Tiko was requested to the scene. After K9 Tiko alerted on the vehicle for the odor of illegal drugs a search was conducted. During the search Deputies located a glass methamphetamine pipe ni the vehicle and the Driver Jevon L. Sork (47) of Fairfield, Il was found to be in possession of a small bag of methamphetamine on her person. Sork was transported to the Wayne County Jail were she is being held.
