Future Farmer Students Head to State Capitol For Future Farmers of America

Hundreds of members of Future Farmers of America headed to the state capitol yesterday for Illinois Agriculture Legislative Day. The students met with Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton and state agriculture director Jerry Costello the Second to discuss their legislative priorities. Bills that are priorities for the students include a proposal to raise the Illinois estate tax threshold.
