Brenda M. Beeson, 77, of Fairfield, died at 10:30am on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at her home.
Brenda was born on July 30, 1946, in Edwards County, IL, to Marion and Dorothy (Keen) Stennett. On February 15, 1964, she married the love of her life, Jerry L. Beeson, who preceded her in death in 2018.
Brenda was a very devoted wife and caretaker for her husband Jerry. She also loved her kids and grandchildren very much, so much so, that she would give her son, Bruce, a wake-up call every morning to make sure he and his daughter, Kylee, were up for work and school. She loved to sew and was part of the sewing club at the Ellen Moore Mission, for which she was a member. She also loved to fish, ride snowmobiles while visiting in Wisconsin, and bowl on the local bowling leagues.
Survivors include her son Jerry Bruce Beeson, her daughter Ginger (Joe) Downs all of Fairfield, seven grandchildren Nicole Krajcer, Kylee Beeson, Joshua Beeson, Mikayla Beeson, Jeffery Sisco, Brinna Sisco, and Brooke Sorenson, ten great grandchildren, three sisters Star (Dale) Beeson of Wilmington, IL, Pat Vinson and Becky Kunce both of Fairfield, special friends Mary and Randy Sorenson of Plattville, IL, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerry, a son Kevin Wayne Beeson, and four brothers Ron Stennett, Doug Stennett, Lonnie Lee (Bimbo) Stennett and an infant brother Brian Stennett.
Graveside services for Brenda Beeson will be at 11am on Friday, March 22nd at Union Cemetery, east of Fairfield. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
