Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies respondee to an apartment Fairfield early this morning in an attempt to locate Gage Devers. After consent was given to enter the residence Deputies located Devers hiding inside a closet. Devers was taken into custody without further incident. During the search of Devers incident to his arrest Deputies discovered he was in possession of methamphetamine. Devers also had numerous active warrants for his arrest and was transported and booked into the Wayne County Jail pending a detainment hearing.

-Edgar County Warrant for Battery and Possession of Weapon by a Felon
-Cumberland County Warrant for Driving on Suspended/ Revoked License
