The National Weather Service is highlighting the potential for Severe Weather throughout our area early next week.
According to information released by the National Weather Service at Paducah, the entire WFIW listening area is under a slight risk for severe weather Sunday Evening into Monday as a warm front is expected to stall somewhere in the vicinity of Southern Illinois and Southwestern Indiana. National Weather Service officials say hail may be the biggest threat, especially Sunday Night into the middle of the day on Monday.
Monday into Tuesday, an approaching cold front will bring an even greater risk for storms. Severe thunderstorms are possible with that as well.
