(Fairfield) — The Fairfield Mules fell to Nashville by a final of 12-10 in in a game that was added to the schedule earlier this week. Ian Puckett suffered the loss for Fairfield as he pitched 4 innings.

(Cisne) — Cisne lost last night to Woodlawn 7-6. With the loss they drop to 4-5 on the season. The Runnin’ Lions are set to face Oblong this afternoon.

(Carmi) — The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog softball team defeated Edwards County yesterday by a final score of 6-4 in 10 innings. The Lady Bulldogs improve to 13-4 on the season and 4-2 in the Black Diamond Conference. They will travel to Richland County tomorrow.

(Carmi) — The Carmi-White County Boys Track team took home 1st Place at the Flora Invite yesterday afternoon with a team score of 178.

(St. Louis, MO) — The St. Louis Cardinals return home to begin a weekend series with the Milwaukee Brewers at Busch Stadium tonight. First pitch is at 7:15PM.

(Chicago, IL) — The series opener between the Cubs and Marlins was rained out in Chicago. The game will be made up tomorrow as part of a split doubleheader. The series begins this afternoon. First pitch is at 1:20PM.
